My name is Matt. I learned how to play guitar some years ago and seen the need to build a site where people can come to learn a few things and have some fun. I will be constantly building the site and changing stuff around as I find cool videos or write new interesting articles to help understand that it is not hard to learn how to play guitar.
You just have to practice and do not give up. Yes, I had sore fingers and did not think I would ever be able to play but I like playing guitar so much that I was determined to learn no matter how long it took.
One thing you will learn is that you need a nice quality guitar electric or acoustic. Trying to learn on a cheap guitar is like anything else it makes it so much harder to learn and the sound just plain sucks!
If you do not have the jingle to spring for a new guitar check out the paper or go to a music store that deals in used equipment. Check out Craig s list there is usually a lot of used guitars for sale there too. Maybe you are one of the lucky ones that has a relative that either does not play anymore or is looking to upgrade and you can score a nice ax on the cheap or for free!
Decide what you want to play whether it is lead, rhythm, or bass guitar. Get some quality lessons which can be found online very easily. Go for lessons if that is what makes you feel good. I will be putting all kinds of videos on the site with just about every post so be sure to bookmark my site and send it to your buds too.
That’s about it for now so if you really have the passion to play guitar do not let anything get in your way. Practice every day but do not make it seem like work. If you really like playing guitar it will not seem like work at all. By playing a musical instrument you are in charge and it is up to you to show off your creativity.
